Arthroscopy is a procedure where a camera with a scope is inserted inside the joint in order to
treat joint problems, ligament injury .Tradionally the incision for any procedure was around 15 cm
for any ligament injury , with arthroscopy the incision is reduced to 0.5 cm
The procedure is done under anesthesia ,after the operation also the patient experiences minimal
pain at operative site and also helps in faster recovery .
Patient is usually discharged second day of the operation after he is comfortable moving around
for his routine activities.
Yes at our centre we have two trained musculoskeletal physiotherapist who take care with regular
bed site visits along with home visits on special request.We ensure patient follows strict structure
protocol of physiotherapy depending on case wise and also readymade charts which help them
in doing physiotherapy at home.
